With a growing digital transformation, recruitment is experiencing a strong digitalization especially via social medias. There are millions of work placement or job advertisements on the net. You can find it on websites like pole-emploi, apec, jobboards, or on social medias like Linkedln, Twitter, Facebook. According to Bond, a company specialized in recruitment solutions, LinkedIn is most used with 79 %, followed by Facebook, 26 % and Twitter, 14 % (2016).

The budgets allocated to social media in human resources services are increasingly important. Recruiters understood the importance of being present on these new platforms, which are very popular with the new generations. The Bond study found that 91% of recruiters were active on social media and 70% of them planned to increase their social media budget.

Social medias are a necessity for recruitment these days. “this allows to target and reach many more candidates.” Said Céline Mochino, Co-founder and Associate Director of Enoa RH Consulting.

Why did this digitalization is a strength for us?

Because you can build relationships with professionals particularly on Linkedln, develop your professional network and stay informed about your industry. You can also interact and send messages or solicitations. Your profile is like a resume, you can model it in order to sell yourself in the best way in front of recruiters.

My point of view

As a student, I have to look out an internship every year and I like do it online. One time I had one interview thanks to Linkedln and another with a group called “toi, toi mon stage” on Facebook.

It works for me so why not for you!
